This property is located in the municipality of Toques, in the comarca of Terra de Melide, just 8 minutes from the town of Melide and all its services. The fully enclosed estate covers a total area of 3,346 m² and has good direct access from the road.

The property is bordered by a hedge of large trees running along the entire perimeter of the plot, providing a remarkable sense of privacy. The ensemble includes the main house, an independent building currently used as a storage unit, a covered parking area and an outdoor seating area with table and benches on a concrete surface.

Stone house ready to move in with bright spaces and quality finishes

The house is a two-storey stone property, in good condition and ready to move into. It is sold fully furnished. The red-tiled roof and the covered porch at the main entrance give character to the facade.

Ground floor: spacious and bright

The main entrance leads to a spacious hallway with a wooden staircase and wrought-iron banister, from which the rest of the rooms on this floor are distributed. The hallway opens onto a large living-dining room, with a stone fireplace, wooden ceiling with exposed beams, partial exposed stone walls and large windows that flood the space with natural light. The fully equipped kitchen, with wooden units and appliances included, has an independent dining area. A corridor leads to a bright bedroom with wooden flooring, a full bathroom —with shower, bidet and marble-top washbasin— and the glazed gallery, one of the most outstanding spaces in the house. This spacious gallery, with a metal frame, translucent roof and slate floor, offers panoramic views of the garden from all its walls and has direct access to the outside.

Upper floor: three bedrooms and a full bathroom

The upper floor, accessible via the wooden staircase, has a landing-hallway and three bedrooms: two with a double bed and wardrobe, and a third with two single beds. All these rooms have wooden floors and wooden ceilings with exposed beams. The bathroom is complete, with a bathtub and two marble-topped washbasins.

Enclosed estate, parking area and independent storage unit

The garden surrounding the house has lawn areas and is bordered by the large trees of the estate. Attached to the house is a covered annex currently used as a parking area, built with a wooden and tile structure that respects the rustic aesthetic of the ensemble. The independent building used as a storage unit, also of stone with a wooden and tile structure, offers a spacious and functional space accessible from within the estate.

Toques and Melide, heritage, nature and gastronomy in the heart of Galicia

Toques is a municipality in the province of A Coruña belonging to the comarca of Terra de Melide. Its territory is crossed by the Camino Primitivo, a variant of the Camino de Santiago that runs from Asturias to Melide, where it meets the Camino Francés. Some 40% of the territory of Toques is part of the Natura 2000 network, guaranteeing a natural environment of great ecological value with native forests, rivers and varied wildlife including species such as the otter, pine marten and goshawk.

Among the attractions of the municipality, the Romanesque church of Santo Antoniño de Toques stands out, a vestige of an ancient Benedictine monastery located a few kilometres from the property. The Furelos river, which rises in the wetlands of Toques and flows down to Melide, offers opportunities for hiking and enjoying the riverside nature.

Melide, just 8 minutes away, is the capital of the comarca and one of the key points of the Camino de Santiago. The town preserves a notable historical heritage, including the Cruceiro de Melide, considered the oldest wayside cross in Galicia, as well as the Museo da Terra de Melide, housed in an old pilgrims' hospital. Melide's gastronomy is renowned throughout Galicia, particularly for its octopus and traditional pastries.

The location of the property provides easy access to Lugo city (47 km / 29.2 miles) and Santiago de Compostela international airport (47 km / 29.2 miles), placing it in a well-connected enclave with the main urban centres of Galicia.

This stone house in Toques is an opportunity for those seeking a rural home in good condition, with spacious and bright interiors, a private garden and a strategic location in the heart of Galicia, just a few minutes from all services.
